Veterans Day kit for employee veterans groups
A printable one-pager, an email you can paste, a QR code, and the three ways colleagues give — online, employer match by name, or check. Nothing to design, nothing to approve twice.
Employee veterans groups ask us for something simple they can forward before Wednesday, November 11: who we are, how a colleague gives in two minutes, and how an employer match works. This kit is that. Print the one-pager for a break room or a lunch-and-learn, paste the email into your group's channel, and point phones at the QR code. It carries only our identity — no company logos, no partner claims — so it clears most internal-communications rules as is.

Honor a veteran this Veterans Day — help every veteran find help.
Wounded Warriors is a national 501(c)(3) veterans charity. It runs a free, open directory that helps veterans and families find local help — benefits offices, clinics, housing programs, legal aid and crisis lines — and funds direct-aid programs for veterans. Every gift keeps the directory free and funds those programs.
- Give online, one-time or monthly — scan the code or visit warriorsfund.org/donate. Card, bank transfer, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal; the receipt is emailed to you.
- Double it with an employer match — Search for Wounded Warriors in your employer's giving portal. The legal name is Wounded Warriors. Submit your receipt the same way you would for any charity; your company's policy sets the limits.
- Mail a check — payable to Wounded Warriors, 1790 Hughes Landing Blvd, Ste 400, The Woodlands, TX 77380. Add "In honor of" and a name on the memo line if you like.

The email
Plain text so it pastes cleanly into any mail client or chat tool. Change the sign-off, add a line about your own event, and send.
The QR code
Points to https://warriorsfund.org/donate/?utm_source=erg-kit — the ordinary donate page with a tag that tells us the gift came through an ERG kit, so we can thank your group.
Download the SVG for slides or posters. It stays sharp at any size.
How to use the kit
- Share it inside your organization as is. The kit carries the charity's identity only; we do not list or imply employer endorsements, and your communications team's rules govern your company's name and logo.
- Matching gifts follow your employer's policy. Search for Wounded Warriors in your employer's giving portal; if the portal cannot find the organization, email info@warriorsfund.org and we will work with the program.
- Tribute gifts: colleagues can give in honor or memory of a veteran and print a free honor card to hand them.
- Want a short talk for a lunch-and-learn? Our about page and transparency hub have the facts and the Form 990.
Questions
Will our employer match gifts from a Veterans Day drive?
Most matching-gift programs match individual gifts to any eligible 501(c)(3). Search for Wounded Warriors in your employer's giving portal; the legal name is "Wounded Warriors". Your company's giving policy decides eligibility, limits and deadlines — check it before you announce a match.
Can we put our company logo on the one-pager or say Wounded Warriors is our partner?
Please share the kit as it is. It carries only the charity's identity, and we do not list or imply employer endorsements. Your internal communications team sets the rules for using your company's name and logo.
Is "Wounded Warriors" the exact legal name to use?
Yes. The IRS legal name is Wounded Warriors. Use that name in giving portals, on checks and in any announcement; the full identity block is on this page and on the printable sheet.
Where does the money go?
To the free national veteran-resource directory and the organization's direct-aid programs for veterans. Program details and the Form 990 are at warriorsfund.org/transparency/.
