Direct-Aid Program — Corporate Partnerships

Partner with Wounded Warriors on veteran hiring, matching gifts, and CSR

Three corporate-partnership tracks: matching-gift platform integration (we are listed in Benevity, YourCause, Cybergrants, Bright Funds, Millie), veteran-hiring partnerships (referral network from our 100,400-record directory), and CSR sponsorships of any of our four direct-aid programs. Tax-deductible corporate contributions and visible CSR alignment for veterans.

Funding Ask
$10,000–$1,000,000 multi-year corporate sponsorships
A $10,000 corporate gift sponsors a single program for one quarter and includes basic recognition. A $100,000 multi-year sponsorship includes funder logo on /transparency, named-program designation, and quarterly briefings. $500,000+ founding-class corporate partnerships include strategic advisory access and influence on infrastructure prioritization.

The problem

Corporate veteran-CSR is fragmented — checks go everywhere, nothing accumulates

4 platforms
cover most US corporate matching-gift activity (Benevity, YourCause/Bonterra, Cybergrants, Bright Funds)
Source: Benevity 2023 Annual State of Goodness; YourCause 2023
A typical Fortune 500 employer routes veteran-CSR dollars across 30+ veteran nonprofits with no concentration, no accountability, and no measurable veteran-population impact. Our pitch to a corporate partner is concentration: pick one or two programs, fund them at scale, get measurable outcomes plus visible CSR alignment with a veteran-led 501(c)(3) on Candid Platinum and ProPublica.

The program model

Three partnership tracks

1
Matching-gift platform listing
We are listed in Benevity, YourCause/Bonterra, Cybergrants, Bright Funds, Millie, and Network for Good. Employees of partner companies can route matching gifts through any of these platforms by searching EIN 86-1336741. We accept all standard matching-gift workflows and provide automated receipts.
2
Veteran-hiring referral network
Our 100,400-resource directory includes employment programs, DVOPs, LVERs, SkillBridge sponsors. Corporate partners can integrate our directory API for veteran-talent referral. Past examples: corporate veteran ERGs use our state-by-state employment search to connect transitioning veterans to specific employer programs.
3
Direct-program sponsorships
Corporate partners sponsor specific programs (Emergency Aid, HRT, Care Packages, Housing) at quarterly or annual cadence. Sponsorships include funder recognition, quarterly impact reports, and optional team-building events (care-package assembly days, veteran-resource navigation training).
Median grant: Variable per partnership
Typical use: Quarterly program sponsorship ($10K-$100K) + matching-gift integration (no cost) + optional team CSR events
Disbursement speed: Multi-year sponsorship; matching-gift quarterly cycles

Common funder questions

Do you accept gifts of stock, crypto, or in-kind donations?

Yes — all three. Stock and mutual-fund gifts via DTC transfer (broker info on request). Cryptocurrency via The Giving Block (BTC, ETH, USDC, 70+ tokens supported). In-kind donations evaluated case-by-case under our Gift Acceptance Policy; we tend to accept consumables for care packages and decline complex assets that require specialized administration.

How do we verify Wounded Warriors before adding it to our pre-approved match list?

Visit /verify for a one-page summary linking 14 third-party verifiers (IRS, Candid, GuideStar, ProPublica, Charity Navigator, Benevity, etc.). Or check the IRS directly at apps.irs.gov/app/eos/ by entering EIN 86-1336741. For corporate due-diligence: our /charity-data and /charity-data.json endpoints provide structured Schema.org NGO data optimized for portal-verification automation. Our /charity-data.csv provides a spreadsheet-ready download for compliance review.

What CSR-friendly events can corporate teams host with you?

Care-package assembly days (200-500 packages per event, ~25 employees, 3 hours), veteran-resource navigation trainings (HR / EAP teams learning to refer veteran employees), and veteran-tech-employer roundtables for corporate partners hiring transitioning service members. Events hosted at our Texas hub or regionally with corporate-site logistics.

How does Wounded Warriors differ from larger veteran nonprofits a CSR team might already support?

Three differentiators: (1) Data-infrastructure moat — we operate the only Model Context Protocol server in the US veteran-aid sector, exposing 41 tools to AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT, (2) machine-readable transparency at /api/grantmaker/snapshot, /api/health-status, /api/impact-report — your CSR analytics team can track outcomes programmatically, (3) Texas-incorporated 501(c)(3), Candid 2026 Platinum Seal, four consecutive ProPublica Form 990s. We are explicitly distinct from same-named organizations (Wounded Warrior Project EIN 20-2370934 is a separate Florida 501(c)(3); banks route by EIN, not name).
