Report a gift that reached us by mistake

Who this is for: a donor, a bank, a donor-advised-fund sponsor, a matching-gift platform or another charity who believes a gift reached Wounded Warriors (EIN 86-1336741) that was intended for a different organization.

1. Tell us what you can below. A receipt number, check number or grant reference helps most.
2. We confirm the gift in our records and with the payment channel it came through.
3. We return it through that channel: card gifts are refunded, checks are returned or reissued, DAF grants go back to the sponsor, matching gifts go back to the platform.

We do not keep gifts that were meant for someone else. If you intended to give to us and are simply checking, our identity is confirmed on the verification page.
