Why CFC matters for veteran nonprofits
The Combined Federal Campaign is the largest federal workplace giving program — federal, postal, and military employees collectively pledge ~$80-100M/year via CFC, with veteran-aid charities consistently among top recipients. CFC pledges roll up via payroll deduction, which makes them extremely sticky (most pledges renew year-over-year for 5+ years).
Becoming CFC-listed unlocks: (1) federal employee payroll-deduction giving, (2) federal-government inclusion as a "vetted" charity, (3) downstream recognition by other workplace-giving programs (which often whitelist CFC charities).
